Born on June 8, 1959 in Odessa (Ukraine). His father Mykhaylo Fedorovich - famous musician, leader of several orchestras of folk instruments, professor of Odessa College of Culture-education (class of bayan/accordion and conducting). His mother - Renata Sergiivna was professor at Odessa A.V.Nezhdanova State Conservatoire (class of bayan/accordion). His sister - Tetyana Mykhaylivna, is a gifted pianist, Laureate of the International Competition, Honoured in Arts of Ukraine, soloist of the National Philharmony of Ukraine. Studied violin playing at Odessa Special P.S.Stolyarski musical school. Graduated with a first-class honours degree from Odessa A.V.Nezhdanova State Conservatoire (violin class, Prof. Pavel Romanovich Melamed) (1982). At Odessa A.V.Nezhdanova State Conservatoire he also studied opera-symphony conducting (class of Prof. Vera Petrivna Bazylevich). During 1985-1988 made his post-diploma studies as violinist at Kyiv State Conservatoire (class of Prof. Olexiy Mykolayovich Gorokhov, Honoured in Arts in Ukraine). In 1988 he became a Laureate of the Ukrainian M.V.Lysenko Violin Competition (III Prize). In 1991 he has defended the Ph.D. thesis entitled "Performer's methods for musical expression as intonation system in contemporary violin music". From 1992 - he is a docent at the Violin Chair of Kyiv State Conservatoire (now - National Musical Academy of Ukraine). In 1998 graduated from the National Musical Academy of Ukraine (speciality - opera-symphony conducting, class of Prof. Alin Grygorovych Vlasenko, People's Artist of Ukraine). He is founder and leader of Kyiv Chamber Orchestra "ARCHI" (first concert was on March 28, 1991). He is also founder and first violin of the string quartet "ARCHI". Since 1995 he is a leader of the Chamber Students Orchestra at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine. Since 1999 he is the conductor of the B.M.Lyatoshinsky Ensemble of Classical Music at the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine. In 1994-1997 twice a year he had the violin master-classes in Kragujevac (Yugoslavia). He is a member of the International Organization of Professors - strings-musicians "ESTA". Presently he is a doctorant and title of the doctor's degree thesis is dealt with the theory of violin performance. Andryevskyy has permanent concerts as soloist as well as a member of quartet, conductor of symphony and chamber orchestras, choir. He takes active part in the international festivals: "Kyiv-Music-Fest", "Season's Premieres", "Forum of the Young", which take place in Kyiv. He participated in other international festivals ("Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" (Odessa, Ukraine), as well as in festivals in Moscow, Poland, Lithuania, Germany. As the conductor of a chamber orchestra "ARCHI" and as a soloist he had tours in Germany. As a conductor of the B.Lyatoshinsky Ensemble of Classical Music he had series of performances in Spain (1999). As a member of quartet "ARCHI" he participated in the International Festival "Musical Evenings in Banska - Bystritca" (Slovakia, 1999 ). As soloist he has performances with chamber orchestra "ARCHI", the Chamber Student Orchestra at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine, B.M.Lyatoshinsky Ensemble of Classical Music. Recently he had performances with Symphony Orchestras of Lugansk Philharmony, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. He has also performances as a member of violin-piano duet with his sister Tetyana Andriyevska-Bodenchuk, who is Honoured in the Arts. His repertoire includes several programs for solo violin. |
