Igor Shavruk

   Born in 1943 Bobruisk, Belarus. Studied piano and conducting at Stolyarsky music School in Odessa (1949-1960).
   1961-1968 - studied piano and conducting at the Odessa State A.V. Nezhdanova Conservatory. In 1968 attended master-classes with prof.I.Musin in Leningrad (Russia). During 1970-1977 was a conductor at the Odessa Opera House. In 1971 attended master class with prof.B.Haikin and K. Kondrashin in Moscow.
   1977-1980 - chief conductor in the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.
   1980-1986 - principal conductor at the Odessa opera House and in
   1986-1990 - chief conductor at the Odessa Opera House.
   Since 1990 - he is a principal conductor at the Odessa Opera House.
   In 1990-1992 he was a guest principal conductor at the Kharkov Opera House.
   In 1992 - guest conductor at Moscow City Ballet.
   Since 1996 - chief conductor of Odessa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.
   He has tours in Bulgaria (Varna), United Kingdom (Ireland), Spain, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, China, Turkey (Istanbul), Romania (Konstanza) and Hungary (Budapest).
