Born in 1947 in Ivano-Frankivs'k (Ukraine). Graduated from the Odessa A.V.Nezhdanova State Conservatoire (1972). Worked during 1975-1999 as a Professor (class of chamber ensemble and quartet). Since 1975 he has been principal cello at Odessa State Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1981 founded ensemble “Harmonies of the World” at Odessa State Philharmony . He is leader of this ensemble. Over 20 years he performs contemporary and traditional academician music. Composers from Ukraine, Armenia, Latvia, Russia, Austria, USA and Switzerland and other countries compose music for this ensemble. He performs with orchestra and the ensemble in many countries of the world.
